Miguel de Sousa is a dance artist with more than 15 years of experience in the field. He studied dance (with a focus on pedagogy) at Universidade Federal da Bahia in Salvador, Brazil, where he was born. As an undergraduate he worked as a dancer for several choreographers, but also as a choreographer – mainly for video (television ads and shows). In 2012 he moves to Paris, France, to further develop his career and has been there since, working for and with a multitude of differents artists and in different fields: contemporary dance pieces, television shows, in-situ performances, music videos, advertisements, film, etc. and also as a model for painting/drawing.
